About Cassandra
Cassandra Plaisir healthcare professional with a diverse background in nursing, healthcare management, and education. Cassandra’s journey in the healthcare field began with her pursuit of higher education at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU), where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management.
Following her graduation, Cassandra embarked on a career as a Nurse accumulating over 12 years of experience working with geriatric patients across various healthcare settings. Her passion for assisting and advocating for the elderly led her to pursue continuing education opportunities specifically tailored for assisted living facilities (ALFs). Cassandra has served as a Wellness Director and Regional Clinical Specialist for the Assisted Living Facility communities, playing a pivotal role in assisting communities in achieving exceptional standards of care.
Cassandra’s dedication to education is further demonstrated through her role as an instructor for nursing department staff in-service trainings and her numerous certifications such as a certified ALF Core trainer and serves as a CPR/First Aid instructor.
Her commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development has positively impacted healthcare teams across various settings.
